- 2 large, peeled and sliced Apples
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 2 (store-bought or homemade) Premade pie crusts
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons, cubed Unsalted butter
- 1 (for egg wash) Egg
- 1 tablespoon (for sprinkling) Granulated sugar

Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Peel and slice the apples into thin wedges and place them in a bowl. Toss the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
