- 1 cup Tahini (sesame paste)
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- A pinch Salt
- 2 tablespoons Chopped nuts (optional, for garnish)

In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar fully dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.

Once the sugar syrup begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove the syrup from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

In a mixing bowl, add the tahini. Slowly pour the warm sugar syrup into the tahini while stirring continuously.
