  • 1 cup (175 grams) Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (200 grams) Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) Brown sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup (95 grams) All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture and whisk until fully incorporated.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
