Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter (melted)
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1-2 tbsp Milk (for glaze)
Instructions
-
1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8-inch round or square baking dish.
-
2
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
-
3
Add the milk, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.
-
4
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
-
5
Brush the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter over the surface of the dough.
-
6
In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar together. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
-
7
Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from the shorter side.
-
8
Cut the log into 8-10 equal slices and place them in the greased baking dish, cut side up.
-
9
Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fluffy.
-
10
While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
-
11
Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for 5 minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top.
-
