- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup, softened Butter
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Fanta orange soda
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon (optional for garnish) Orange zest

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and dust it lightly with flour.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder and set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Add half of the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.

Pour in the Fanta and mix until smooth. Then, add the remaining dry ingredients and fold until you have a smooth batter.
