Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (drained if using canned) Pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup Chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a square 8x8 inch baking pan.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in both the granulated sugar and brown sugar until fully combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
